The Manchester Film Festival which takes place from the 1st - 4th of March at the Odeon Great Northern are excited to announce a LIVE performance by Jerry Haanan and band.
The U.S folk artist will play on Friday 2nd March on the MANIFF stage at the Great Northern Warehouse to promote the premiere of Documentary THE MAD HANNANS. The Film will screen on Saturday 3rd March at 7.30pm in association with King Street Town House at the ODEON Great Northern. The Friday night gig is a Free Event.
The film is about brothers, musicians, bandmates Jerry and Sean Hannan, chronicling their rise, fall, and ultimate reconciliation. It is a true story of life's joys, trials, devastating losses, and the unbreakable bonds that hold them together. The heart wrenching story that features Sean Penn will also be followed by a Q and A from director Martin Shore and a further in screen solo performance from the film’s star Jerry.

Starting in January 2018 there will be a new monthly EuroSession in Manchester. Meetings consist of a folk session and dancing for European folk music (mostly French, Breton and Scandinavian) and will take place on the last Wednesday of each month. Details
